Christian David Reynoso
Christian works in the kitchen at San Francisco mainstay, Zuni Cafe, but he started out his career in the FOH at The Girl and the Fig in Sonoma, California. It was there that he learned to appreciate simple, well-executed food. After founding a canning business called Uncommon Pickle he worked in the kitchen at Rice, Paper Scissors, a Vietnamese pop-up. He is also on the sensory evaluation panel for the California Olive Oil Council and co-chair for the Pickle category at the Good Food Awards. He lives in a San Francisco apartment with his boyfriend, two roommates and a cat named Elton John. His favorite late-night snack is quesadillas and his current flavor obsession is preserved lemon, home-cured of course.
